Environmental Seminars Speaker – Dr. Hedley Freake
Three RIvers Community College 574 New London Turnpike, Norwich, CT, United StatesPlease join us for an evening with Dr. Hedley Freake.
Dr. Freake is an emeritus Professor and was the Undergraduate Program
Coordinator in the Department of Nutritional Sciences, University of Connecticut.
While currently not active in laboratory research, His prior efforts used molecular
approaches to address questions of nutritional significance.
One area focused on the regulation of long chain fatty acid synthesis by hormones and diet, in particular thyroid
hormones and dietary carbohydrate.
We hope you'll join us and discuss issues, ideas and methods of improving our environment with Dr. Freake.

Environmental Seminars Speaker – Kevin Franklin
Three RIvers Community College 574 New London Turnpike, Norwich, CT, United StatesPlease join us for an evening with Kevin Franklin.
Kevin is an adjunct professor at Three Rivers and has taught geomatics and land surveying courses for the college since 2013. He graduated from UConn with a Master of Science degree in Natural Resources in 2017. Kevin’s award-winning thesis derived the expected amount of miscentering error for a survey rod.
