The flags purchased by members of the community will be planted in honor of their loved ones on the green facing New London Turnpike. It is expected that there will be between 300-500 flags.

This event will also take place during the presentation and dedication of two newly designated Purple Heart parking spaces at the college. The event is sponsored by Student Programs, the Veterans OASIS, and the Veterans club.
