Comments:

“I began teaching at Three Rivers in the Fall of 2000. I had planned to begin as an adjunct faculty member, having been selected by Barbara Saez and Mary LaMattina in March of that year to teach one or two courses. Some weeks later, to my surprise and delight, Barbara called to informed me that a full-time faculty position had become available. She encouraged me to apply, and I spent that Summer going through the arduous search process that all my colleagues are well familiar with, a search that ended in my selection as a new faculty member in the Humanities Department.

What I valued the most of all my varied experiences during my years at Three Rivers was bringing new faculty into the ranks; serving, hopefully, as a good model for them; and encouraging and supporting them in developing their skills and talents. And teaching, always teaching, was my great, great joy.”
