The Cloisters is a museum in Fort Tryon Park in Washington Heights, Manhattan, New York City specializing in European Medieval architecture and sculpture with a focus on the Romanesque and Gothic periods. The museum is made up of four cloisters dissembled in Europe and moved to Manhattan during the 1930’s and is now run by the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
