Whoo whoo is out in the forest? Learn about the many native owl species of southern New England as we explore the unique adaptations that allow owls to hunt at night. With the aid of a live owl ambassador, we will get a close-up look at the features which give owls great night vision, amazing hearing and the ability to fly silently. Kim Hargrave is the Education Director at the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center.
