Music for Life: New Horizons

Meet the New Horizons Band of Southeastern CT, which is comprised of beginning and intermediate players who come together once a week to make music and build social connections. The band will perform a short program and offer a look at what a rehearsal is like. Class participants will learn about the international New Horizons Music organization and the benefits of instrumental music (physical, mental and emotional). Director Heidi Toala will offer a brief lesson intended to enhance participants’ understanding and appreciation of music.
