Actor Spencer Lofranco, best known for the role John Gotti Jr. he played alongside John Travolta in the film, has died at the age of 33 Gotti – A True American Godfatherem 2018.
The news was confirmed this Thursday, November 20th, by the artist’s brother, Santino, through a post on Instagram: “For the legend Spencer Lofranco. My brother. You lived a life that few would dream of. You changed people’s lives and now you are with God. I will always love and miss you, Bear. Rest in peace.”
Santino added that Spencer Lofranco died on Tuesday, November 18, precisely one month after his 33rd birthday.
The artist’s death is being investigated and the cause has not yet been determined, according to the TMZ.
After studying acting at the New York Film Academy for a year, he joined the casts of A New Love (2013), Jamesy Boy (2014), Invincible (2014), King Cobra (2016) e Gotti – A True American Godfather (2018).
“When I was a kid, Angelina Jolie was my dream girl. Now I’m going to shoot a movie with her. It’s kind of crazy. When I tell people they’re like, ‘Ah, okay’. They don’t believe me,” he told the magazine Interview after having started recording the film Invincible.
