Actor Joaquim Monchique, 57, has already been discharged after suffering a stroke last weekend. The information was given this Tuesday, December 23, by the producer Força de Produção, stating that, at this moment, the actor’s health situation is “stable”.
Monchique was hospitalized last Saturday after feeling unwell after the performance of “Lar Doce Lar”, at the Teatro Municipal de Bragança. He ended up being “hospitalized following a stroke”, said the show’s producer at the time. After being admitted to a local hospital, the actor was transferred to a hospital in Lisbon.
Now the producer informs that the actor has already been discharged. “At your request, we convey an immense thank you to everyone who showed their concern and affection”, indicates, in a statement, the Production Force, referring to a “special thanks to the public of Bragança, the Bragança Public Hospital and the Cuf Tejo Hospital, in Lisbon”.
“It will soon be on stage again”, says the producer.
