The sickening video shows thousands of dirty food wrappers, empty drinks bottles and food-laden takeaway containers crammed into every space of the room at least three feet deep.

A table and two gaming chairs are almost completely buried beneath the stomach-churning waste.

In the bathroom, rubbish appears to choke every surface, with toilet paper piled higher than the toilet itself and discarded items covering the washbasin.

A thick layer of a horrible brown grime has built up on the floor.

Even after the clean-up, management said visible damage remains and renovation work will be needed before the room can be reopened.

The guest is described as a hardcore gamer who had checked into the room for what appeared to be an extended gaming session.

The hotel in Changchun is specialises in stays for Esports competitors, offing private rooms kitted out with high-end computer gaming equipment, fast internet and dedicated gaming chairs.

Staff said he still owes more than 10 days of unpaid fees totalling almost £300.

Hotel bosses said the matter has not been reported to police and they do not currently plan to pursue responsibility.

It comes after neighbours in China spotted a woman dangling from a 10th floor balcony as she appears to almost lose her grip.

The heart-stopping moment was captured in China, as onlookers watched on in horror at the woman attempting shimmy herself to a safer location.

A shirtless man can be seen talking to the woman through the window before he disappears from view.

Holding her phone, she then starts her descent to the floor below, climbing down drain pipes and windowsills.

The woman appears to slide down a water pipe to a neighbour’s window, when she bangs on for help.

Fortunately, the person inside opens up and helps the woman to safety.

Local reports claim a cheating husband panicked when his wife returned home early and pushed his mistress out onto the balcony to prevent her from being discovered.
