Fortnite’s official status account addressed the issue on X, acknowledging widespread login failures.

Minutes later, the developer announced that login issues had been resolved but reminded players that several major modes would still be unavailable.
“Login issues have been fixed up, but as a reminder, Battle Royale, Zero Build, Save The World, and Ballistic will be temporarily unavailable during the Yuki’s Revenge premiere event.”

The outage follows a series of scheduled maintenance windows and event-related downtime around Fortnite’s v39.00 update and the Zero Hour live event. According to Fortnite’s incident logs:
- Nov 30: Downtime for v39.00 update was completed
- Nov 29: Multiple scheduled maintenance periods
- Nov 29: Servers were taken offline after the Zero Hour event for the hotly anticipated update
