“Things are extremely clear: If I can be a candidate, I will be and he will be my prime minister; If I can’t be a candidate, he will be,” she stressed in an interview with the channel BFMTV.

Le Pen faces a appeal process from January 13 to February 12 to see if the sentence he received in September of five years of disqualification with immediate execution and four years in prison (three of them could be fulfilled with an electronic bracelet), mainly due to misappropriation of public funds from the European Parliament.
