FIFA released this Saturday, December 6th, the days, times and locations of Portugal’s three games in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
The national team, which was housed in Group K, will start by facing the winner of the playoff between DR Congo, Jamaica and New Caledonia on June 17th (Wednesday), at 6pm (Lisbon time)at NRG Stadium, in Houston, United States.
Portugal’s opponent in the first game, it should be noted, will only be known in March 2026, with Jamaica facing New Caledonia, on the 26th, and the winner facing the Democratic Republic of Congo, on the 31st, to decide the outcome.
In the 2nd round, the quinas team will face the Uzbekistan in the same stadium at 6pm on June 23rd (Tuesday).
Finally, Portugal will close the group stage in a duel with Colombia, scheduled for 0:30 am on June 28 (dawn from Saturday to Sunday) at Hard Rock Stadium, in Miami.
Remember that the draw was held this Friday and that the World Championship will take place between June 11th and July 19th next year in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
