Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denounced this Saturday, December 13, that Russia attacked Ukraine with “more than 450 drones and 30 missiles of different types” during the last night and early morning, pointing out that the targets of the Russian army were the energy infrastructures south of Odessa and in the regions of Dnipro and Cherkasy.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, at least four people were injured in Odessa, a region where electricity and water supplies were interrupted in several areas.
In the publication on the Telegram social network, Zelensky states that, in total, more than a dozen civil facilities were damaged and thousands of families are without electricity in the regions of Kirovograd, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Sumi, Kharkiv, Kherson and Cherniv.
“It is important that everyone now sees what Russia is doing. Each of its acts of terror against our people, all attacks, clearly demonstrate that it is not about ending the war”stressed the Ukrainian president, guaranteeing that the Russians “continue to want to destroy” his country and “cause the greatest possible suffering to the population”.
In this sense, Zelensky once again appealed to his partners to reinforce the Ukrainian army’s air defense and capabilities on the war front, with long-range missiles with the aim of increasing pressure on Russia and also for “all diplomatic efforts to yield results”.
