Arab countries oppose his election

Blair has so far been the only name Trump has endorsed to lead and coordinate his 20-point plan to end the war between Israel and Hamas by the end of September.

In fact, the president of the United States even described him as “very good man”while the express premier qualified this proposal, as well as his election to lead the Gaza International Transitional Authority (GITA), as a “bold and intelligent” proposal, publicly expressing their willingness to be part of this organization.

A controversial legacy

This committee will include Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushnerto the advisor to the Republican president, Steve Witkoff, and senior officials from Arab and Western countries.

The Executive Committee will have the task of coordinating the work between the Peace Council and a palestinian technocratic committee in charge of managing daily affairs in Gaza.

This connection between Blair and Kushner is by no means new. In 2019, the British supported the plan Jared Kushner to invest up to $50 billion to “modernize” Palestine.

At that time he noted that the project would be of “enormous benefit” to the Palestinians, although the Palestinian Authority described it as unviable by converting a political conflict into a mere real estate exercise.

Years later, this link is still active and is considered a “foreign guardianship” over Palestine by Arab and Muslim countries.
