Mohegan Campus

The Mohegan campus on 7 Mahan Drive in Norwich is located on forty acres of meadowland bordering the winding trails of scenic Mohegan Park. The inviting three-story instructional building houses spacious classrooms, a career and student development center, a 390-seat auditorium, modern science, nursing, and computer labs, a well-equipped library and learning resource center with computerized access to more than 500,000 volumes, a children's center, facilities for conferences and cultural exhibits, a bookstore, and a cafeteria. Faculty and administrative offices are located in an annex adjacent to the instructional building. Outdoors, the campus includes playing fields, a picnic area and playground, and well-lighted parking areas. The Mohegan campus is convenient to shoreline and inland communities of the region via Interstate 395 (Exit 81 East) or via Connecticut Route 2. Public transportation is available on SEAT buses with a bus stop and shelter at the main campus.

Thames Valley Campus

The Thames Valley campus is located at 574 New London Turnpike, Norwich. It is readily accessible from Route 2 and from Interstate 395 (Exit 80 East). The College occupies a two-story complex housing classrooms, gymnasium, cafeteria, library, a career services and placement center and well-equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry, computers, CAD, electricity, electronics, design, materials testing, metallurgy, manufacturing, photonics, and other engineering support activities. These laboratories provide an extensive opportunity for the study and application of the scientific and engineering principles learned in the classrooms.

Off-Campus Locations

In addition to the Mohegan and Thames Valley campuses in Norwich, the College offers courses at conveniently located community sites in the area in cooperation with the Navy, Waterford Public Schools, and Ella T. Grasso Technical School.

Naval Submarine Base Site

The College's largest off-campus center at the Submarine Base in Groton serves military personnel, their families, and civilians with a pre-obtained security clearance.  The center provides all admission and registration services, academic advising, and information about Navy Tuition Assistance, Veterans Benefits and Financial Aid information. Military schools/training is evaluated for advanced standing. The College is a member of the SOCNAV and ConAP networks.

In cooperation with the U.S. Naval Submarine Base, the center maintains a full service extension on-site office located in Building 83.The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and is also fully staffed during evening classes from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Evening classes provide a wide range of courses leading to an associate degree.  The extension site has large climate controlled classrooms, a computer lab, and tutoring center. Handicapped access is limited to the rear of Building 83. Civilians may take courses on a space available basis.  For additional information call 445-5575.

Waterford High School

Evening classes are offered at Waterford High School in cooperation with Waterford Public Schools. Waterford High School is located at 20 Rope Ferry Road, Waterford, Connecticut 06385.

Ella T. Grasso Technical High School

Evening classes are offered at Ella T. Grasso Technical High School located at 189 Fort Hill Road, Groton, CT 06340.

All curricula have been approved by the Connecticut State Department of Higher Education as required by the Veterans Administration for its certification of eligibility of qualified veterans and war orphans.
