Zelensky says the agreement to end the war is “almost ready” and announces a summit with Russia and the US

Volodímir Zelenski announced this Thursday during his speech at the Davos Forum that Ukraine, Russia and the United States will hold a two-day trilateral summit in the United Arab Emirates starting Friday, and assured that “the documents intended to end this war” are “almost ready.”

“Ukraine is working with full honesty and determination, and that gives results, and Russia must also be prepared to end this war, to stop this aggression,” stressed the Ukrainian president, who had just held a meeting with Donald Trump on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum.

The White House tenant described the conversation with Zelensky as “good,” which lasted just under an hour. “There will be a meeting with Russia, it will be tomorrow. And there will be a meeting with President Putin,” added Trump, who will send his chief negotiator to Moscow in the next few hours.
