For the next few days’ programming, we highlight two shows with a Brazilian accent and a Libertadores final that promises to divide Lisbon between red and black people and palmeiras. Girl Necklace Show
Colar de Rapariga, a band formed by northeastern musicians based in Lisbon, presents their first EP live, Girl’s Necklace Vol. 1released by the independent label Concha. The work crosses brega pop, arrocha, piseiro and rap, mirroring both the aesthetics of northeastern popular music and the migrant experience in Portugal. The launch show in Lisbon takes place on Saturday (29) at Casa Capitão, with the participation of the Artist Coach and a performance by Jhon Douglas.
Created in 2023 by Heidy Samantha, Wehz and Vinicius Big John – still in its initial phase, marked by seresta beats – the group consolidated its identity with the entry of saxophonist and clarinetist Gu Juventino. EP tracks such as I sent audio, Beige Panties e Composing MPBreinforce the fusion of rhythms, affections and dialogues between Brazil and Portugal that mark the project. The show in Porto only takes place in December, but Lisbon hosts the party this weekend.

Arnaldo Brandão at the Braço de Prata Factory
Bassist, composer and legendary figure in Brazilian music, Arnaldo Brandão takes to the stage at Fábrica Braço de Prata this weekend to celebrate a trajectory that spans historic bands, landmark partnerships and decisive moments in national music. A member of Bolha in the 1970s, Cazuza’s partner in “O tempo não para” and founder of Outra Banda da Terra alongside Caetano Veloso, Arnaldo now performs in Lisbon in an intimate and close format.
The musician shares the stage with singer-songwriter Jorge Vadio, who celebrates 20 years of career in 2025. The performance takes place on Saturday, at 7pm, and Fábrica Braço de Prata once again becomes a meeting space for those who enjoy live music, a mix of generations and artists who carry giant stories on their backs.

Libertadores Final
The Libertadores final between Flamengo and Palmeiras, scheduled for Saturday (29), at 9pm (Lisbon time), promises to shake up the Brazilian community in the capital. Red-and-black people gather at Docas de Alcântara with live music, samba circles and dozens of screens on to watch the game – and the party starts early, between 2pm and 8:30pm, spread across the Hawaii, Havana, Contra, Nolita bars and surrounding areas. According to the Fla-Portugal Embassy, this should be the largest gathering of fans in Portugal since the group was founded in 2017.
On the other side, the Palmeiras residents occupy Marvila in an exclusive event with a DJ, pyrotechnics, a children’s area and food and drink service. Organized by Mancha Verde Portugal and the Palmeiras Lisboa group, the meeting costs €5 and follows specific safety rules, such as a ban on black clothing (except allies) and drinks brought from outside. A few meters from the Marvila and Braço de Prata train stations, the space should receive dozens of families and club lovers. It’s a repeat of the 2021 final and whoever wins becomes the Brazilian with the most titles in the competition.
