The UP government claimed that it is taking another major step towards making Uttar Pradesh the best investment destination in the country. A major online single-window clearance system, “Nivesh Mitra 3.0,” is being developed to make the ease of doing business in the state more effective, transparent, and investor-friendly.

According to a press release, this new version, expected to be launched in 2026, will provide investors with a seamless, integrated, and intelligent digital experience. Invest UP, the state’s investment nodal wing, is finalizing its development and incorporating feedback from investors and experts to improve it.

‘Nivesh Mitra 3.0’ is being designed to be fully integrated with the National Single Window System (NSWS). The release said this will provide access to all necessary permissions, approvals, and services at the central and state levels on a single platform. This system will free investors from the need to repeatedly visit different departments and accelerate project implementation.
To further strengthen the Yogi government’s transparent and accountable administrative system, ‘Nivesh Mitra 3.0’ will be integrated with IGRS (Integrated Grievance Redressal System), Chief Minister’s Dashboard (Darpan), Investment Sarathi, OIMS, and India Industrial Land Bank (IILB). This will enable investor complaints to be registered directly through IGRS and enable real-time monitoring up to the Chief Minister’s Office level, the release further mentioned. Moreover, the Chief Minister’s Dashboard will clearly display department-wise progress, pending cases, and decision status, further strengthening the accountability of officials.

According to the release, one of the key features of ‘Nivesh Mitra 3.0’ will be an artificial intelligence (AI)-based smart dashboard. This will ensure real-time data analysis, live tracking of investment proposal progress, and departmental performance assessment, enabling early identification of potential bottlenecks. This technology will promote data-driven decision-making from policy formulation to on-the-ground implementation.

For investor convenience, a multi-channel communication system is being developed within this portal. Investors will be able to receive direct information regarding their application status, approval, objection, or grievance redressal via WhatsApp, email, and SMS. This will make the communication process faster, more transparent, and reliable.
