Trump captures Maduro and ends the attack but Chavismo maintains military control of Venezuela

The United States surgical operation in Venezuela, which began at dawn with a battery of bombings against military bases and strategic installations of Chavismo, concluded on Saturday morning with the capture of President Nicolás Maduro. The US operation did not, however, cause the regime’s top brass to lose control of the country.
