The movement of trains, boats and Carris, in Lisbon, will be covered by minimum services during the general strike on Thursday, December 11th, but the Metropolitano will not have service, according to decisions released this Saturday, December 6th, by the Economic and Social Council (CES).
According to five decisions published this Saturday in site do CESas for the railway sector, minimum services are defined at CP – Comboios de Portugal, and as for the management company Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP), they will be “those necessary to allow compliance with the minimum services decreed for CP, in addition to those identified in the minimum services proposal presented by the company regarding the circulation provided by Fertagus and Medway”.
At the Lisbon Metro, the CES Arbitration Court unanimously decided “not to set minimum services in terms of the circulation of trains”, but at Carris the services of 12 lines must be ensured and at Transtejo/Soflusa 25% of the routes will be carried out in the periods between 06:00 and 09:30 and from 18:30 to 20:00.
