The Free Party requests the annulment of the presidential scrutiny due to the “disaster” of the vote counting

“An action for administrative annulment of the scrutiny carried out by the 19,167 Vote Receiving Boards (JRV) at the presidential elective level is presented, given the disaster of the Transmission of Preliminary Electoral Results (TREP) system,” is indicated in the document presented by the lawyer Edeson Javier Argueta, legal representative of Libre.

The lawyer has stated that the scrutiny “violates every rule of transparency and fairness of the electoral process, puts the legality of the results in precarious conditions, affects the very basis of democracy and profoundly violates the right to vote” of citizens and thousands of candidates.

Argueta asks the electoral body to admit the annulment action, schedule a hearing within three days following notification of its admission and admit the evidence provided.
