The fine mist hung over the cobblestones outside the Jewel Housethe vault that stores the relics of the British Crown. The guardians of the jewels, better known as Beefeaterspatrolled like every morning through the historic citadel, as they have done since 1485.

There were four members of the group Take Back Powera “non-violent civil resistance” organization that seeks to create the “House of the People” and “fix Britain.”
“Great Britain It is devastated because the super-rich pocket billions, while ordinary people fight to survive. They are the reason why we have children who go to bed hungry, unaffordable housing and shit in our rivers,” reads one of their manifestos posted on their website.
Likewise, they point out that the State “profits by killing children in Gaza and heating the world to the limit.” They feel “powerless” because they cannot “change things”: “They corrupt our politics and own our media.”
The group questions why the upper classes pay the lower “tax rate” than the “working class majority.” Therefore, they urge that “ordinary people decide how to tax extreme wealth,” through what they call “Chamber of the People” o “Asamblea Ciudadana”.
