Thursday has arrived, the day of DN Brasil’s cultural agenda for Lisbon and its surroundings. For the next few days, we highlight an unprecedented Live Cinema session, the last edition of the year of the Latin American Fair on Sunday and the samba circle that livens up Rua da Beneficência. There is also rapper Yago Oproprio opening his new European tour with a show in the Portuguese capital this Saturday.

Yago Oproprio – Eurotour 2025

Yago Oproprio’s new European tour begins in Portugal: the rapper performs this Saturday (6) at Estúdio Time Out, a show already sold out – before that the artist will still perform in Porto. The tour continues through Dublin, Barcelona, ​​Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris and London, marking the artist’s reunion with an international audience. The shows bring together rap, MPB and Latin references that are part of his trajectory.

Born in Cohab I, in São Paulo, Yago grew up surrounded by soirees and theater before diving into the universe of rap and freestyle. With almost 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify and nominations for the Latin Grammy and the Multishow Award, he arrives in Europe at a mature stage and with a loyal audience. Anyone in the north of the country can still secure tickets for Porto’s performance.

Live Cinema and Latin American Fair at Fábrica Braço de Prata

Saturday (6) brings a special option for those who like out-of-the-box audiovisual. At 9pm, Vincent Moon presents his Live Cinema at Fábrica Braço de Pratain a performance that mixes improvisation, images captured on trips, sounds recorded in the field and digital interventions. Among the materials used, there are records made in Brazil that appear during the show. It is an immersive and artisanal experience, designed to exist only in that moment.

On Sunday (7), the space hosts the last edition of the year of the Latin American Fair, a multicultural meeting that has already become a tradition in the city. From 12pm, immigrants prepare typical dishes from Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil and other countries, in an atmosphere of coexistence, music and activities for children. The program continues until 11pm, with collaborative entry and an atmosphere of community celebration.

Samba at Nelson – Brazilian Table

Saturday (6) also features traditional samba and a bar atmosphere on Rua da Beneficência. The seventh edition of Mesa Brasileira starts at 2pm and brings together musicians, friends and curious people in an open circle, with a repertoire that ranges from classics to the most popular sambas. The event has already become a mandatory stop for those who want to end the weekend in a light and festive way – all outdoors, with tables spread out and free entry.

Supporting the meeting, the Cape Verdean restaurant O Nelson (famous for hosting Fiel Lisboa at the Coringão games) offers snacks and drinks, creating the perfect atmosphere for a sunny afternoon of samba. Brazilians, Portuguese and other nationalities mix to the same beat, in one of those shows that work effortlessly: arrive, sit down, sing along and let the rhythm lead the day.
