PRESIDENT Putin’s henchman Ramzan Kadyrov has been urgently hospitalised in Moscow.
It comes after the notorious Chechen leader, 48, begged Mad Vlad to let him quit.
The 48-year-old “wardog” has been accused of violating human rights, including involvement in kidnapping and torture.
Reports say he went to the Russian capital for a meeting of the State Council chaired by Putin.
But the Chechnya leader’s health deteriorated sharply, and he was taken by ambulance to the Central Clinical Hospital of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.
A source told Novaya Gazeta Europe: “In Moscow they barely managed to resuscitate him, after which he returned home and has not appeared in public since.”
They claimed that there had been no contingency plan for the meeting, so it had gone ahead without anyone representing Chechnya.
It came after reports earlier this year that Kadyrov pleaded with Putin to let him step down.
Putin’s wardog was hospitalised in Grozny’s private Aimedi clinic last year, and his health is said to have worsened since then.
He said in a live broadcast: “I sometimes have nervous breakdowns.
“A constant feeling of tension, as if I were sitting on an electric current.”
Some reports have said Kadyrov is terminally ill from “pancreatic necrosis”, and requires regular treatment in the Kremlin Clinic in Moscow.
Kadyrov has denied this, insisting he is “absolutely healthy”.
The warlord – who has been living a lavish life and flaunting his wealth around – was first diagnosed with a mystery condition in January 2019.
He previously acknowledged in public that he had been deemed “temporarily unfit for work” and had been forced to take a leave of absence.
Kadyrov was then “put on a drip for just two days” due to his fever and virus, from which he claimed to be mildly ill.
The quick treatment raised “persistent suspicion” among the wider public, as many were left “puzzled” as to why a common cold would need an IV, Novaya Gazeta reported.
When Kadyrov vanished from the limelight in October 2019, rumours circulated on Telegram that the Chechen leader was ill and might have been poisoned.
What is pancreatic necrosis?
Pancreatic necrosis occurs when pancreatic tissue dies due to inadequate blood flow, inflammation, or injury.
It is often associated with severe pancreatitis.
Symptoms include intense abdominal pain, especially in the upper abdomen, nausea, vomiting, fever, rapid pulse, and sometimes shock.
Complications can be severe, including infection, organ failure, and even death if left untreated.
Treatment typically involves hospitalisation, supportive care, antibiotics, and sometimes surgery to remove dead tissue.
Early detection and intervention are crucial for better outcomes.
Relations between Putin and Kadyrov soured after alleged secret meetings between Kadyrov and Middle Eastern officials.
Local media reported that the Chechnyan ruler began “unsanctioned discussions” with officials from several Middle Eastern countries about his assets and family’s future – without Moscow’s approval.
The FSB security service officers informed a “furious” Putin about Kadyrov’s secret negotiations.
Kadyrov has reportedly already begun transferring assets abroad, with the leader’s family recently acquiring properties in both Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
Earlier this year, the Chechnya leader was said to be “preparing to flee Russia” as he has put his son in charge of the police.
In 2024, Kadyrov flaunted a Tesla Cybertruck which he claimed to have received from Elon Musk.
The warlord attached a massive machine gun to the back and pledged to send it to the frontline in Ukraine.
Kadyrov said he “fell in love” with the motor and described the Tesla as a “Cyberbeast”.
He said: “A real invulnerable and fast animal. A manoeuvrable car that develops excellent speed and overcomes obstacles.
“I express my sincere gratitude to Elon Musk! He is, of course, one of the greatest geniuses and specialists of our time. A great man!
“Elon, thank you! Come to Grozny, and I will welcome you as the most honoured guest!”
Musk denied donating the truck to Kadyrov on X.
