The Ukrainian head of state also added that the “task is clear” and involves defining “quickly and substantially the steps necessary to put an end to the war”.
He also added that Ukraine continues to work with the United States in the “most constructive way possible”, hoping that the results of the meetings in Geneva will now be consolidated in the United States.
“I look forward to our delegation’s report after its work this Sunday. Ukraine is working for a dignified peace”, stressed the Ukrainian president.
A Washington proposal released last week, which included Moscow’s main demands, was initially welcomed by the Kremlin, but underwent changes following negotiations between North Americans, Ukrainians and Europeans.
On November 23, a meeting between Ukrainian, North American and European authorities took place in Geneva, where the parties discussed a proposed peace plan presented by Washington with the aim of putting an end to the war in Ukraine.
Following negotiations in Geneva, Ukraine and the United States agreed to continue working on joint proposals for a peace agreement.
