Escondidinhos of various flavors, stewed beef, bean broth, sururu broth, chicken ximxim, rice and vatapá are some of the Brazilian dishes present on the special New Year’s Eve menu at Fábrica Braço de Prata. Brazil is one of the countries with the most diversity of flavors, in a gastronomic universe that brings together more than 16 nations at the party “Against winds and tides.”
As in the previous edition, Immigrants working in the culinary field were invited to present the best of their cultures at the event. Many of them participate monthly in fairs promoted by Fábrica Braço de Prata, such as Latin American, Brazilian and Mediterranean.
In addition to Brazil, other Latin American flavors will be available, such as Argentine barbecue, Ecuadorian tortillas and enchiladas Mexican. On the European axis, the dishes will be from Italy, France and Portugal. Morocco and the Middle East complete the list.
Diversity will also be present in the music, with varied rhythms: forró, DJs, Sarapatel and artists from Portugal, such as Maria João and João Farinha and Júlio Resende. The party starts at 8pm and continues until 5am.
Tickets are now on sale in three types: 65 euros for dinner, drinks and dancing, including three courses and two drinks; 35 euros for two drinks and dancing (the second batch rises to 40 euros); and ticket only for the party, worth 20 euros in the first batch and 25 euros in the second.
