São Paulo musician Sessa will be in Portugal in February 2026 with the album tour Little Vertigo of Lovewhich hit platforms this month. The artist, known for mixing MPB, soul and psychedelia, will perform at Casa Capitão, in Lisbon, on February 6th, and at the Espinho Auditorium, on February 7th.

The new album follows the praised Greatness (2019) e lit star (2022), and features compositions that explore themes such as fatherhood, in arrangements that combine American soul and MPB from the 1970s. According to the musician himself, the sound of Little Vertigo of Love it is “more nocturnal, open, crooked and funky”, with influences ranging from Shuggie Otis, Roy Ayers and Sly Stone to Erasmo Carlos, Tim Maia and Hyldon.

Born in São Paulo, Sérgio Sayeg — Sessa’s real name — began his career as a guitarist and co-founder of the band Garotas Suecas, in 2005. After moving to New York, he joined several local bands before embarking on a solo career, becoming one of the main voices of the new generation of contemporary Brazilian music.

With an already consolidated international trajectory, Sessa has toured different countries in Europe, as well as the United States, Canada, Mexico and Japan. His shows mix intimacy and energy with the public, with a sound that crosses samba, soul and groove.

Tickets for the show in Lisbon, on February 6th, are now on sale for €16.30 on the Casa Capitão website. For the presentation in Espinho, on the 7th, tickets are available at the Espinho Auditorium.
