Israeli attacks leave at least 32 Palestinians dead, including at least 7 children, in Gaza despite ceasefire

“Twenty-eight bodies have been recovered: a quarter of them childrena third women and one elderly man, including four female police officers,” the Gaza Civil Defense detailed in a statement, shortly before the discovery of another body.

And israeli missile crashed this morning against the police station in the neighborhood of Sheij Radwanin Gaza City, causing seven deaths, as confirmed by a source from the Shifa Hospital morgue, which later increased to 14 after the discovery of four bodies in the rubble.

According to the hospital and a statement from the Hamas Interior Ministry, the fatalities include at least four women Police officers and four people who were detained. Details about the last six deaths are still unknown.

Shortly after, three more Gazans were killed in an Israeli attack on a family home in western Gaza City, near a school complex of the UN agency, UNRWA, as detailed by a local source in the enclave.

And this morning, another 12 Gazans were killed in Israeli attacks, including six children from two familiesaccording to two hospitals in the Strip, which is already the deadliest day since the ceasefire came into effect on October 10.

They died in the bombing of an Israeli drone against a tent in Khan Younis (south) a father, his three children and three of his grandchildrenaccording to a source from the Naser Hospital and the Civil Defense.

In the north, an Israeli aerial bombardment against his apartment killed a mother and three of her childrenas well as another family member, in Gaza City, according to Shifa Hospital.

With their deaths, they are already more than 520 Gazans killed since the truce came into forceincluding more than 100 children, according to data from the Gaza Ministry of Health, to which today’s latest victims have been added.

The Israeli Army, for its part, confirmed today to EFE “numerous attacks” against the Strip, and said in a statement having killed four Hamas “commanders and other terrorists” and Islamic Jihad, without giving details of where those attacks occurred.

Allegations between Hamas and Israel

Hamas has accused Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement which came into force in October of last year, while the Israeli Army denounces for its part that Hamas militias continue to operate in the enclave.

“Terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip systematically violate international lawcruelly exploit civil institutions and operate in the presence of the local population,” the Israeli Army responded.

The Hamas spokesperson, finally, has urged the international community, the United Nations and its Human Rights institutions to “clearly condemn these massacrestake practical measures to stop them, hold the occupation leaders accountable for their crimes and prevent the continuation of a policy of impunity that encourages more murder and destruction.
