Ukrainian midfielder Sudakov, with a muscle injury to his right thigh, and goalkeeper Samuel Soares, with an injury to his right thigh, are doubtful for Monday’s Benfica-Famalicão match in the Portuguese First Football League.
The Reds confirmed this Thursday, December 18th, the nature of the two players’ injuries, with Sudakov, usually a starter in midfield, potentially being a major casualty for the team coached by José Mourinho, who host the Minho side on Monday.
The 23-year-old Ukrainian, who has already played 20 official games this season at the club, joins Luxembourg’s Leandro Barreiro, who had injured his left ankle in the clash against Moreirense (4-0), on the unavailable list.
Samuel Soares, Trubin’s usual substitute in the Eagles’ goal, is also suffering from a muscle injury in his right thigh, having also been substituted on Wednesday in the Portuguese Cup victory at Farense (2-0), from which Sudakov also left with physical problems.
