THIS is the shocking moment a woman accidentally presses the wrong pedal while parking, causing her car to lurch forward and pin a man against a wall.
Footage captured shows the woman driving a red Volkswagen Golf along a quiet street in Camboriu, Brazil.
She slowly pulls into a parking bay on the right-hand side of the road, just feet away from a man who is crouched against a wall, smoking a cigarette and scrolling on his phone.
Without warning, the car fails to stop and suddenly surges forward.
The unsuspecting man is trapped between the vehicle’s front bumper and the wall behind him.
Still strapped into her seat belt, the startled driver flings open the door and looks down at the pedals in confusion.

The man manages to free himself moments later, tossing his cigarette aside as he steps away.
The woman then quickly exits the car to apologise for what happened.
Local reports say the man did not suffer any serious injuries.
No further details have been released about the circumstances surrounding the incident or whether any follow-up action was taken.
This is the latest in a long line of traffic accidents in Brazil.
Earlier this week, a family including two young daughters tragically died in a horror crash while driving home for Christmas.
Lucas Celestino Reis, 40, and her wife Jéssica Silva da Hora, 35, had been looking forward to their youngest daughter meeting the rest of the family for the first time.
The couple were in one car with their daughters, Ana, eight, and Ísis, three, as well as Jéssica’s 19-year-old niece, Rayane Rebouças da Hora.
A second vehicle, driven by Rayane’s father, followed behind with other family members.
Both cars set off from Nova Serrana in south-eastern Brazil during the early hours of Friday last week, heading for Ibicuí in the north-east of the country.
A short time into the journey, the second car lost sight of the family’s vehicle.
Concerned, Rayane’s father turned back, fearing they may have returned home.
When he was unable to find them, he alerted police.
Several hours later, officers discovered the missing car overturned in a stream beside the motorway.
All five occupants were found dead inside the vehicle.
Police believe Lucas lost control of the car, causing it to cross the road, strike an embankment and overturn into the stream.
When it was found, parts of the vehicle were submerged.
Lucas’ sister, Lucimar, told local media: “He was coming so we could meet his little daughter, whom we never even got to know.
“It was meant to be a Christmas full of joy. The whole family was waiting for him, with everything prepared. And then we received the bodies.”
The victims were laid to rest in Ibicuí on Sunday.
