THIS is the jaw-dropping moment an out-of-control car flew through gardens, smashed into a home – and flung its driver straight into a swimming pool.
Heart-stopping home surveillance footage shows the vehicle hurtling at full speed before going airborne and crashing into a backyard pool like a missile.
The car flips and spins violently, before slamming into the roof of the property and caving it in.
The suspected impaired driver is catapulted into the pool – floating in the water as stunned residents sprint to pull her out.
The chaos unfolded in Laughlin, southern Nevada, where homeowner Cletis Reed told FOX 5 he heard a terrifying bang “like a freight train” before rushing outside.
“I figured something happened in the street, and I came out to see my entire backyard destroyed,” Reed said.

“Everything was just blown up. The patio is on the ground, the lady is floating in my pool.”
Reed revealed he had been seconds away from stepping into his hot tub – positioned right by the wall that collapsed during the smash.
“I popped the cover on and thought I needed to tell my wife something,” Reed said. “By the grace of God, I’m here. If I was standing there, I would have been dead.”
The driver landed in the shallow end of the pool – just waist-deep – surrounded by unforgiving concrete and block walls.
The homeowner and others dragged the driver from the water, where she appeared badly shaken.
Reed said she was “conscious” but “moaning and groaning” when they pulled her from the water.
“She kept floating face up, she flipped over face down, she snuck under water,” he continued.
“We get her out, God’s witness, she stands up 15 minutes later getting interviewed by police.
“She was blessed, and I was blessed.”
According to the crash report, the driver was speeding moments before the horror impact, then “failed to stop” and “hit a block wall” before going “rotating in the air,” causing the driver to “eject and fall into the pool.”
The wrecked vehicle ended up so awkwardly lodged in the backyard that a tow truck had to use a crane to haul it out.
Reed said the crash obliterated the backyard oasis he poured his retirement savings into, including the resort-style pool.
The impact destroyed the patio and contaminated the 25,000-gallon pool with motor oil.
Reed estimates repairs could cost nearly $300,000 and fears the pool may need to be completely drained.
“I can’t really sleep well because I keep running it through my head again,” Reed said.
The driver was taken to a hospital in Arizona, and records show she has previous traffic violations.
LVMPD is yet to confirm whether the driver will face any charges related to the crash.
