Four individuals aged between 19 and 41 were arrested by the PSP in an operation carried out in Bairro Alto da Cova da Moura, for the crime of drug trafficking.
According to a statement from the Lisbon Metropolitan Command, the intervention took place during a patrol action, when agents detected suspicious behavior near a residence. The information collected pointed to the fact that the house was being illegally occupied by several individuals for drug trafficking.
The agents also found that the house was used abusively, as the legitimate owner was threatened and violently coerced by the suspects.
In the operation, individual doses of narcotic products were seized, namely 378 doses of cocaine, 50 individual doses of heroin and 6.14 grams of ecstasy. Utensils used in the manufacture, handling and packaging of drugs were also seized, including a precision scale, metal containers, packaging bags, mixing utensils and an electric stove.
Additionally, an undisclosed amount of money was recovered from the illicit activity.
The four detainees were presented to the judicial authorities on Friday, December 12, 2025, with two of them being subject to coercive measures regarding identity and residence, another will have to report periodically to the police authorities and another is still in preventive detention.
