A home textile factory was completely consumed by flames in the early hours of this Sunday, November 23, in Felgueiras, in the district of Porto, the local fire commander, Júlio Pereira, revealed to Lusa.
The alert was given at 06:12 for a fire in the town of Penacova, with the first information being that a warehouse at the Fábrica Inspiração Padrão was on fire, said Júlio Pereira.
However, upon arrival at the scene, it turned out to be the factory that was burning, ending up being completely consumed by flames, added the commander.
The fire was declared extinguished at around 9:10 am and according to the person responsible, there were no reports of injuries.
According to the official, there are no reports of injuries.
The factory’s managing partner assured Lusa that the jobs are to be maintained. “I’m going to rebuild this”, said António Pereira.
The Inspiração Padrão factory, according to the owner, operates on the ground floor of the house where he lives and has an area of around 400 square meters.
