FanCode, India’s digital sports streaming platform, has renewed its broadcast partnership with Formula 1 under a new three-year agreement. The deal extends FanCode’s rights until the end of the 2028 season, making it the home of Formula 1 in India.

The renewed partnership builds on the earlier two-year agreement and includes an expanded offering for fans. As part of the deal, viewers in India will be able to subscribe to F1 TV Pro and F1 TV Premium directly through FanCode, providing access to Formula 1’s full content library and multiple viewing options.

FanCode will continue to stream every race weekend, including all practice sessions, qualifying rounds, Sprint races and Grands Prix across the season. The platform has also introduced regional commentary in Tamil and Hindi, launched a motorsports podcast titled Gearbox with Indian creators, and partnered with F1 fan communities to host special screenings. The company said more product-led innovations are planned to further enhance the viewing experience.
Formula 1’s popularity in India has grown sharply in recent years, especially among Gen Z and female audiences. According to Nielsen, India has 79 million Formula 1 fans, marking a 41% increase since 2022. The recently released F1 film starring Brad Pitt was also the highest-grossing Hollywood film in the country.

Under the agreement, FanCode will also hold broadcast rights for Formula 1 across Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. However, F1 TV Pro and F1 TV Premium will continue to be sold directly by Formula 1 in these markets.


The 2026 season is set to begin on March 5 in Melbourne and is expected to mark a significant phase for the sport. The grid will expand to 22 cars with the debut of the Cadillac F1 team, while Audi will complete its takeover of the Sauber F1 team. New regulations covering lighter cars, sustainable fuels and active aerodynamics are also set to be introduced. Arvid Lindbladt, a driver of Indian heritage, will feature on the grid after signing with Racing Bulls.

FanCode had previously streamed Formula 1 during the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Its other broadcast partnerships include LaLiga, MotoGP, the Carabao Cup, Cricket West Indies, the PGA Tour and several international cricket leagues such as Super Smash, CPL and ILT20.
