A FORMER Republican staffer who allegedly orchestrated a violent attack on herself has been ordered to get mental health treatment.
Natalie Greene, 26, has been ordered to undertake “residential treatment” after it was revealed she allegedly staged a savage attack that left her upper body mutilated.
Greene said three assailants hogtied her, held her at gunpoint and carved anti-Trump messaging into her skin.
Words included “Van Drew is a racist” and “Trump W***e”.
Camden federal Magistrate Judge Elizabeth Pascal recommended she surrender into “residential treatment” – live-in health care facilities that provide therapy for people with substance use disorders, mental illness, or other behavioural problems.
Greene’s lawyers consented to the order.

Police have alleged the ex-law school student and former aide for Republican Jeff Van Drew hired a fetish artist to cut the skin on significant portions of her upper body.
She travelled to Pennsylvania two days prior to the ordeal, paying the body modification artist $500 to cut the gruesome wounds into her skin with a scalpel, according to prosecutors.
She then allegedly had her co-accused make a 911 call on July 23 to report that they had been attacked by three men in the Egg Harbor Township Nature Reserve.
The bogus ambush specifically targeted Greene, because of her job with Van Drew.
Attending cops found her lying on the ground in a wooded area, just off the trail.
Her hands and feet had been hogtied, her shirt had been pulled over her head, exposing the fresh wounds covering her body.
Greene told officers that at least one of the attackers had a gun and threatened to shoot her.
Cops found zip ties in her Maserati SUV, and later a roll of Pro Essential duct tape, bolstering their allegations that the attack was a self-organised hoax.
Days before the incident, cell phone data retrieved from Greene’s co-conspirator allegedly showed the accomplice had searched on the internet “zip ties near me.”
Greene and her co-accused also allegedly gave differing accounts of the attack, prosecutors said.
After fronting court on November 19, she was released with an ankle monitor on a bond of $200,000.
However, a week later Camden federal Magistrate Judge Elizabeth Pascal ordered Greene back and had her ankle bracelet removed.
Pascal recommended that Greene surrender into “residential treatment” – live-in health care facilities that provide therapy for people with substance use disorders, mental illness, or other behavioural problems.
Greene’s lawyers consented to the order.
She was charged with conspiracy to convey false statements and hoaxes and making false statements to federal law enforcement.
If convicted of both charges, she could spend up to 10 years behind bars and be ordered to pay a whopping $250,000 fine.
Greene’s lawyer Louis Barbone told the New York Post that she should be “presumed innocent”.
On the evening of the attack, police said they found her shivering on the ground after the distraught caller said: “They were attacking her.”
“They were talking about politics and stuff. They were calling her names,” the caller added.
Van Drew, who is not believed to be involved in Greene’s alleged stunt, told the New Jersey Globe that she no longer worked for his office.
“While Natalie is no longer associated with the congressman’s government office, our thoughts and prayers are with her and hope she’s getting the care she needs,” a spokesperson from his office said.
She will return to court at a later date.
