DRAMATIC footage has captured the moment a stolen Ferrari was sent flying into a utility pole in Miami after being struck by a police cruiser, triggering a violent crash that knocked out power to nearby buildings.
The incident unfolded in the Brickell neighbourhood as a local filmed the chaos erupt in a matter of seconds.
The clip shows the stolen supercar squaring up to a police cruiser before violently swerving away and tearing off at full throttle.
The screech of tyres can be heard as a vehicle accelerates off camera, building tension just moments before the crash comes into view.
Seconds later, the stolen Ferrari suddenly appears and slams head-on into a utility pole, snapping it in half as the force of the impact slices through the luxury car.
The wrecked Ferrari then comes to rest nearby, while a bright flash lights up the street and sparks shoot violently in all directions.

Moments later, a police cruiser speeds into frame as an officer steps out and cautiously advances toward the wrecked car, while multiple squad cars race in to swarm the scene.
According to the Miami Police Department, the crash occurred after a woman reported her Ferrari stolen, with officers tracking the vehicle as it pinged in the area of SW 2nd Avenue and 17th Street.
Cops responded to the location and said they watched as someone got into the Ferrari and drove off.
Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but police say the driver refused to pull over and tried to flee the scene.
During the attempted escape, the driver lost control of the Ferrari, crashing first into a police cruiser and then smashing into the utility pole.
The collision left the area without power and turned a quiet stretch of Brickell into a scene of twisted metal and flashing lights.
Police say the driver ran from the crashed vehicle and disappeared into the surrounding neighbourhood.
Neighbours later told officers they had seen police searching nearby buildings for the suspect.
Officers eventually located the suspect on the second floor of an apartment building just one block from the crash site.
The driver was identified as 28-year-old Deshawn Prendergast.
Prendergast was taken to hospital to be treated for a laceration sustained during the crash.
After being released from medical care, he was booked into custody.
Police say Prendergast now faces charges including grand theft, running from police, leaving the scene of an accident and reckless driving.
An investigation remains ongoing as authorities review the shocking footage and the events that led to the destructive police chase.
It comes after another chaotic incident in which a mum accidentally drove her car straight into a swimming pool after confusing the accelerator for the brakes.
The 38-year-old woman was behind the wheel of a Jaguar XF when the shocking crash unfolded.
She ploughed through a glass window before the car careered into an indoor swimming pool.
Stunned onlookers watched as the vehicle ended up submerged in the water.
Her five-year-old daughter was still inside the car when it plunged into the pool.
Two lifeguards immediately leapt into action, jumping into the water to rescue the mother and child.
Both were pulled safely from the submerged vehicle.
It is understood that no one was injured in the incident, including swimmers who were in the pool at the time.
Local officials later confirmed that all occupants escaped without harm.
The town hall said: “The occupants were able to be extracted from the vehicle, and there were no injuries.”
French media reported that the woman was driving an automatic car and had mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake.
Investigators say the error caused her to smash through the glass façade of the building before the Jaguar ended up in the pool.
