Ticket prices for CP services will increase, on average, 2.26% in 2026, but the cost of passes will not change, the company announced this Monday, December 22nd.

“From January 1, 2026, new prices come into force for all CP services, with an average increase of 2.26%”, reads the notice published this Monday.

On the other hand, “the price of the Green Railway Pass and the Navegante and Andante passes will not change”, they add.

Ticket price lists for the various services, including urban trains, Alfa Pendular, Intercidades and Regional and InterRegional are available on the CP website.

A single one-way ticket on an Alfa Pendular from Lisbon to Porto, for example, costs 49.90 euros in Comfort class and 35.70 euros in Turistic class.

The passes remain unchanged, with the Green Rail Pass, worth 20 euros per month, replacing the national rail pass and allowing travel on regional, interregional (2nd class), urban trains in Lisbon and Porto (outside the areas covered by metropolitan intermodal passes), urban trains in Coimbra and intercity trains (2nd class, with mandatory and advance seat reservation).

The price of Navegante Metropolitano (valid throughout the Lisbon Metropolitan Area) is 40 euros per month, Navegante Metropolitano (valid in one municipality) costs 30 euros and Navegante +65, for seniors, costs 20 euros.

With regard to Andante, public transport in the Porto Metropolitan Area (AMP), in most cases, the cost of monthly passes is 40 euros (metropolitan pass) or 30 euros (municipal or three zones).
