A 13-year-old Brazilian teenager was attacked at school until he passed out, but help was not called and those responsible were not notified. The complaint is from a mother, in an interview with TV Record Europa, in yet another case of aggression in a school environment.
According to the immigrant, who remained anonymous, it was not the first time that her son was a victim of violence at school. In fact, there is a case in court against one of his colleagues who attacked him again in an episode that occurred three years ago, according to his mother.. The family lives in Santarém, and the teenager studies at Escola Mem Ramires.
According to the Brazilian, one of the most serious aspects of the case is the lack of assistance to her son. The student looked for her, the immigrant works there, and told her what had happened, already hurt. She took him to the hospital. “The doctor, when she saw him, was horrified and said that the school was negligent, as they should have immediately called an emergency service, as the boy fainted.”reports.
The mother questioned the school management about what had happened, and the answer was that the attackers had been suspended. However, according to images shown in the TV Record Europa report, the teenagers continue to pursue the Brazilian through messages on his phone.
Still according to the immigrant, His son has been the target of bullying at school for years. The victim’s father, also interviewed in the report on condition of anonymity, classified the attack as “cowardice against less privileged students”. He argues that suspension alone is not enough. “It has to be a harsher punishment, which serves as an example and inhibits further aggression,” he said. The family plans to transfer the teenager to another school as he does not feel safe. A complaint was also registered with the Public Security Police (PSP).
