A LiveModeTVLiveMode’s new European operation – company responsible for CazeTV in Brazil -, arrives in Portugal with free broadcast on YouTube of all the team’s games at the 2026 World Cupinformation advanced by Express. In an interview with the weeklythe company’s commercial director, Guilherme Cesar, confirms that the channel “will broadcast all the Portuguese national team’s games and even the best game of each day”, after acquiring the rights directly from FIFA.
“There will be people who will prefer to watch the Portuguese team on RTP, as they have traditionally watched for many years”, says César, who believes that, especially among younger people, the broadcast, “with a more familiar language and on a platform that they are already consuming”will have strong appeal.
The broadcasts will be free and financed only by advertising and partnerships with brands on YouTube and social mediamirroring the model that consolidated CazeTV’s success in Brazil – the channel has more than 23 million subscribers. For the Portuguese market, LiveModeTV has already secured names such as Ricardo Quaresma, RicardinhoYouTuber Movemind and commentators Tomás da Cunha and Mário Cagica.
In addition to the World Cup, the platform guaranteed rights to competitions such as the Intercontinental Cups, the Libertadores and the under-17 and under-20 women’s World Cups.
