Finn’s first television role was in The George Wendt Showin 1995, where he played the main character’s brother.
He later starred in the role of Joe Mayo in Seinfeldin 1998, playing a party host known for delegating arduous tasks to his guests.
At the same time, he made guest appearances in popular series in the late 1990s and early 2000s, including The King of Queens, Friends, That ’70s Show e House.
However, the actor was perhaps best known for playing the role of Bill Norwood in The Middlea series in which he participated for eight seasons, between 2011 and 2018.
In cinema, he appeared in films such as Simply Complicated (2009) e Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups (2012).
In addition to acting, Pat Finn also taught at the University of Colorado, where he was an adjunct professor, and was part of a six-person improv group called Beer Shark Mice.
In a tribute, fellow actor Richard Kind said that “there was no kinder, kinder, funnier, more down-to-earth person you could meet” than Pat Finn. “Always positive, helping you to be funnier and better. A great father, an incredible boy,” he wrote on Instagram.
