The ruling marks the latest chapter in 6ix9ine’s long-running legal troubles stemming from his 2018 racketeering case, in which he testified against members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods and was granted early release in 2020. According to ABC, it is the second time in just over a year that he has been sent back to prison for violating conditions of his release.
Billboard reported that 6ix9ine repeatedly breached the rules of his five-year supervised release. In November 2024, he admitted to using drugs and traveling to Las Vegas without approval, earning a 45-day jail sentence and an additional year of supervision. Earlier this year, he was caught with cocaine and MDMA, and in August, he allegedly assaulted a man at a Florida mall.
6ix9ine is expected to report to prison on January 6, 2026.
