Writing Contest

We invite writers of all abilities to compete in our writing contest. There are two categories: Poem and Short Story. For each category there is a 1^st ,2^nd, 3^rd place prize.

Rules: Writer’s must not include their name or pen name. Their Student ID number and the category their work is being entered into must be the header of the work. All Work must be typed. All Work must be placed in an envelope with the Category and Student’s ID number on the outside. Any entry that doesn’t meet this requirement will be disqualified. The Signup sheet will be between F-209 and F211. Please be sure to leave your name, phone number and student ID. These will be used to identify your work when/if your submission wins. The submission box will be outside F-211. Writers may only have one entry per category.

The contest will take place from February 13^th to March 26^th. The winner will be announced at The Writer’s Guild Student Showcase.
