Professor Snayd demonstrated a true commitment to students and the success of the nursing program She loved participating in simulation education, and nursing lab experiences. She worked tirelessly with ESL students, locating resources and implementing strategies to facilitate their success. She promoted the awareness of vulnerabilities of those suffering with mental health challenges. To the College, she donated a wonderful teaching tool that increases students’ knowledge of people who hear voices and how they manage their lives.

She was instrumental in implementing the use of ePortfolio at the College, and found this teaching-learning tool to be useful in reflective learning practices. She and her colleagues presented at national conferences on the use of ePortfolio.
