Comments:
“Our Founding President, Bob Rue, coined the phrase, “The Can Do College”. We attempted to “CAN DO” by meeting the educational needs of students by offering a meaningful liberal and a vocational curriculum; and by meeting the life needs of students by providing both academic and personal counseling, cultural and social enrichment programs, and financial aid to those in need.

We always seemed to be under budgeted; for many years programs were held together, to their credit, by administrative magicians like Wes Wright and Joe Anderson.

Personally, I miss the voices of my colleagues, their intellect, their concern for students and for each other, their dedication to their respective disciplines and their concerns for the larger world.

I have never regretted a day of “work” at TRCC.”
