Drawing reference to Mahabharat’s Dushasana, Banerjee said: “During elections, ‘Duryodhan’ and ‘Dushasana’ come to Bengal. You will see the fierce anger in their eyes… A person representing misrule has come to Bengal.”
“Around 54 lakh voters’ names have been deleted due to this ‘Dushasana Babu’. Consider yourself lucky that despite harassing us, you are still treated as a guest. Had we not cooperated, you couldn’t have moved freely,” Banerjee said.
On land for fencing, she said, “You are saying Mamata Banerjee did not give land. I have given enough land but you have failed to complete work… I am not against CRPF or BSF or any agency. But if they work as per BJP, we won’t spare anyone… Who gave land in Raniganj, Jamuria, Bankura or Bongaon-Petrapole and for Andal airport? They are lying blatantly.”
Banerjee accused ECI of deleting voters’ names through AI and said that she would not allow any genuine voters’ names to be deleted or detention camps to be set up. She said Trinamool workers will gherao ECI’s office in New Delhi if the name of a single legitimate voter is deleted.
