A man injured three women this Friday with a knife on line 3 of the Paris metro and fled, French media reported.

The extent of the women’s injuries and the motivations for this attack are unknown at this time.

The Paris metro operator, the RATP, reported on its social networks that traffic on line 3, which crosses the city from east to west, is operating “with disturbances” due to “an incident” not detailed.
