Members of the crowd jumped from their seats immediately, rushing to check on her.

Later, videos posted on social media captured the beauty queen being carried away on a stretcher.

Henry was rushed to Paolo Rangsit Hospital in Thailand.

The Miss Universe Jamaica organisation confirmed she is not suffering from life-threatening injuries.

“Medical professionals are attending to her care and have advised that she is not suffering from any life-threatening injuries; however, they continue to conduct tests to ensure her full recovery,” the statement said.

The organization also urged fans to send her support: “We kindly ask everyone to stay upbeat, lift her in prayer, and send positive thoughts as she receives the necessary medical care.”

Raul Rocha, owner of the Miss Universe pageant, posted an update reassuring supporters.

Rocha wrote: “I was there with her family and her, and thankfully, there are no broken bones, and she is under good care.

“She will remain under observation for the rest of the night, and we will remain in touch with her family and support her”.

He added: “Our prayers go out for her prompt recovery.”

The fall occurred during the preliminary rounds on Wednesday.

Contestants had already competed in the swimsuit round, the national costume competition, and were performing in the evening gown segment.

Henry, an ophthalmologist, is also the founder of the See Me Foundation, a charity advocating for the visually impaired across Jamaica.

Her Instagram stories before the incident showed her getting glammed up and ready for the stage.

She was set to compete in the 47th annual Miss Universe pageant on Friday.

The competition has already been marred by controversy this year.

Miss Universe judge Omar Harfouch resigned from the official jury just days before the pageant.

Harfouch claimed an “impromptu jury” with personal ties to contestants had already decided which women would advance.

Earlier, Miss Universe executive Nawat Itsaragrisil was dismissed after a shocking confrontation with Miss Mexico Fátima Bosch.

The clash prompted a dozen other contestants to walk out of a pre-pageant event in solidarity with her.

The Miss Universe Jamaica team expressed their support and admiration for her resilience.

Fans around the world sent messages of hope after seeing the fall on social media.
