After the release of photos of Bill Clinton with Jeffrey Epstein, the former American president’s spokesperson came out to demarcate the situation, accusing the White House of trying to divert attention from the case. “The White House did not hide these files for months only to release them in a rush on a Friday night to protect Bill Clinton.”begins the message, published by Angel Ureña, on the X network (formerly Twitter),
“This is about protecting yourself from what comes next, or what you will try to hide forever. So they can release as many blurry photographs over 20 years old as they want, but this isn’t about Bill Clinton. Never was, never will be”, he stressed. He also mentioned that “even Susie Wiles [chefe de gabinete da Casa Branca] said Donald Trump was wrong about Bill Clinton.”
According to Ureña, there are two types of people involved in Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes. “There are two types of people here. The first group knew nothing and cut ties with Epstein before his crimes became public. The second group continued to have relations with him after that. We belong to the first”these.
In a clear reference to Trump, he argues that “no delaying maneuver on the part of the people in the second group will change that fact”. And he adds that “everyone, especially MAGA, expects answers, not scapegoats.”
