The Public Ministry (MP) accused seven Sporting fans of attempted murder of five FC Porto fans. They are also accused of ten crimes of harm to physical integrity, one of arson, five of robbery – one of which was qualified and completed – and three of qualified damage, the MP reported this Monday, December 15th.
At issue are facts that occurred in Lisbon, on June 10, 2025, after a roller hockey game between Sporting and FC Porto.
According to the indictment, “the defendants, SCP supporters, acted as a group within the scope of a plan that aimed to set fire to the vehicles in which members of the rival club were traveling – which they managed to achieve in relation to one of the vehicles -, with the occupants inside, not allowing them to leave, inflicting blows and blows, stoning the victims and cars, and appropriating valuable objects that they had in their possession”.
Of the seven accused defendants, five are in pre-trial detention and two are subject to the coercive measure of “obligation to remain in their home with electronic surveillance”, recalls the MP about this case, the investigation of which was directed by the 11th section of DIAP in Lisbon, with the assistance of the Judiciary Police.
