The Government’s most recent changes in the area of immigration will be a topic of conversation at the Fábrica de Braço de Prata, in Lisbon. On Monday, December 8th (holiday), at 7pm, the evening’s program includes “Lab Imigrantes”, meetings dedicated to identifying the main difficulties faced by immigrants in Portugal.

The initiative is part of the program of the “Segunda Baderna”, which takes place every Monday, as the name suggests. The objective is to provide a diverse cultural night for people, mostly immigrants, who work on the weekend and have the day off.

This Monday’s “Lab Imigrantes” session will be attended by DN Brazil. It will be a joint conversation about changes in laws that directly affect the Brazilian community and other immigrant communities in the country.

The idea is, each week, to welcome someone invited to talk about these topics. “The idea is to bring together more leaders and a multidisciplinary team to launch a digital and interactive immigration observatory, in a campaign format“, says the statement from Fábrica de Braço de Prata. The initiative is a partnership with Instituto Um, formed by Brazilians and which will soon begin its activities in Portugal.

The program for this “Segunda Baderna” will also include other activities, such as capoeira classes, theater and live music, as well as Brazilian food on the menu, at affordable prices. Entry is free.
